Anne-Marie O’Hagan

Anne Marie is a highly respected educator who focuses on authentic connections with families. She runs a very successful tutoring business, Tandem Tuition, is a successful businesswoman, educator and author.

Michael Clark B.Ed (Primary)

Michael Clark equips tutoring business owners with exciting strategies to grow their businesses fast and how to make much healthier profits on the journey.  His own tutoring business “Big Improvements Tutoring” has served 3500 families in the last 9 years.  He believes that the 2020 Coronavirus downturn has created opportunities that tutoring businesses can take advantage of to fuel growth by while working smarter, not harder.

Colin Turner

Colin is a qualified teacher and experienced Principal as well as a successful tutor. He is now the Director of ‘Topscore Education’ based in Melbourne and is also a senior consultant to ‘Ai English’ which currently delivers well over 1200 English lessons per week to school and tutoring centre students in China and Japan. Colin teaches English and Literature and has been awarded a life-time achievement award for Music Education in Victoria. In 2019, he was the first Australian to present to the annual Asian Edutech Summit in Tokyo, Japan. Colin still teaches groups of senior secondary students at ‘Topscore Education’ in Melbourne and online. Colin is particularly interested in the relationship between students’ learning at school and enrichment with professional tutors.

Jenny Pownall

Jenny Pownall is an ATA Board member and owner and founder of The Tutoring Company. Established in 2016, The Tutoring Company has grown considerably over time, having quickly adapted to changes in the environment (for example COVID and online tutoring) and an ability to deliver “needs-based” instruction that always puts students first. Their international and national database of students are serviced by both online and home-based tutoring.
