Cedar Education provides personalised education therapy to help all students uncover their strengths and improve academically. We use a multisensory, structured literacy (MSL) approach to build strong reading, spelling, and writing foundations, giving every learner the ability to succeed. Our goal is to transform struggling readers into confident learners.
MSL therapy is an evidence-based teaching method that is explicit, systematic, and cumulative. It teaches the structure of the English language (including phonology, sound-symbol relationships, and morphology) by engaging three learning pathways simultaneously: visual (seeing), auditory (hearing), and kinesthetic/tactile (movement and touch). This highly structured, yet flexible, approach ensures concepts are thoroughly mastered before moving on, making it effective for students with dyslexia and other reading or learning difficulties.
