Dazzle Literacy

I consider myself to be a kind, patient, and caring educator with 35 years of teaching experience across a range of grade levels and subjects.
Over the past 10 years, I have specialized in supporting students with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, and I have spent the last five years providing targeted literacy support. I am an Associate Member of the Australian Dyslexia Association with accreditation in multi-sensory learning. I have a strong understanding of the need for explicit teaching and the importance of a synthetic, systemized phonics approach. My teaching combines explicit instruction with multi-sensory strategies, providing structured, personalized support that builds confidence, strengthens understanding, and fosters a love of learning.
My interest and passion for supporting students with dyslexia is deeply personal—both my husband and daughter were impacted by dyslexia throughout their school years and into adulthood. This motivates me to ensure every student receives the understanding, support, and skills they need to succeed.
