Lucinda Curran – Educator and Literacy Specialist
With over three decades of experience across all age groups, Lucinda Curran is a dedicated and passionate educator. She began her career in early childhood education as a full-time teacher and team leader in preschool settings, later serving as a Director in long day care centres. Transitioning to primary education, Lucinda taught prep through Year 2 and worked as a teacher-librarian, fostering a love of learning in her students. Her teaching experience also includes casual relief teaching and tutoring.
In recent years, Lucinda has focused on adult education, developing courses and educational materials. She also held the position of Senior Lecturer. She has presented training nationwide as a subject matter expert and has been invited to speak at conferences across Australia and New Zealand.
Lucinda holds a Master of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Health Science, and Diploma of Teaching. As a neurodiverse individual, she is deeply aware of the varied ways people learn and is committed to providing inclusive, adaptive teaching methods tailored to diverse learning needs. Her teaching philosophy centres on helping students feel relaxed, supported, and engaged, so they can achieve their academic goals.
