Description
Read with Michelle is a small literacy intervention service based in Weetangera, Belconnen. I am a Primary Teacher with over 16 years of classroom teaching experience across K-6 in NSW, WA and the ACT. I started tutoring in literacy and language in 2023 and have spent the last three years tutoring in Broome, WA.
I offer tailored one-on-one learning sessions, using an evidence-based teaching approach to literacy learning. To learn why words are spelled the way they are, we also explore words through the lens of their morphemes, and their origin and history through word study (etymology). Sessions run during term time, with the option of summer lessons.
