After conducting intensive tutoring courses during the January holidays, I am on leave while children settle into their new school year. I will respond to any tutoring email and message requests at the start of March, to find out how your child is tracking after a few weeks of school, and to see what they may need help with in 2023.
We are all diverse. We learn and grow in different ways. In my 15 years of teaching, I have strived to personalise every child’s education, considering not just their academic needs and learning dispositions, but also their well-being, happiness and confidence.
In today’s busy schools, it can be difficult to meet the needs of every child in the classroom.
I will complement your child’s current schooling by:
• Developing strategies to understand and apply technical vocabulary across subjects such as science and humanities
• Strengthening understanding and confidence with specific mathematical or literacy concepts and skills
• Establishing strategies to develop confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset
• Refining time management, organisation and study skills
• Assisting with goal-setting and monitoring
I also offer support and assistance for children and carers in home-schooling environments.
I am a fully-qualified primary teacher, registered in both Queensland and Victoria. I offer flexible delivery options (online, face-to-face, small group, and one-on-one) as part of a personalised plan that helps your child to thrive. I offering tutoring for Primary School children from Prep to Year 6.
