Description
Carmel supports those who find literacy challenging. She helps learners move forward using evidence - based methods. Learners grow in skill and feel success. The learner's confidence then grows as a result. Seeing learners smiling, feeling happy and achieving their personal bests is the goal.
Carmel has invested in many hours professional development and as a result uses current evidence - based programs proven to more learner's forward. She offers in person sessions and online sessions. Carmel assists students of varying ages and needs.
An initial assessment is conducted so Carmel and parents/caregivers know exactly where their child is at. Carmel can clearly identify what the learner is needing to move them forward. There is no guess work.
Carmel also assists high school students who are at the beginning stages of learning to read and is thrilled to see them grow in happiness and confidence as a result of their growth and success in reading.
