The founder of Tutorio Tutoring is a proud Scottish-Australian with a background in Chemistry/Biochemistry from top universities in Edinburgh and Glasgow, initially focussed on advanced university-level tuition. He soon recognised a critical gap: high school students in Australia needed access to world-class academic rigour combined with a deep knowledge of local curriculums.
This principle drove the establishment of Tutorio Tutoring. The belief was firm—that every Australian student deserves the highest calibre of educational support, regardless of where they live. The focus shifted to not just teaching curriculum content, but simplifying complex topics and building the essential study skills, confidence, and exam technique necessary for high achievement.
Realising the demand for this blended approach, the founder meticulously recruited a team of undergraduates, post-graduates, and experienced academics from Group of 8 Universities. This team shares a common goal: to mentor, guide, and support students along their entire academic journey.
Tutorio is now a leading provider, specialising in intense preparation for HSC, VCE, and ATAR exams, as well as providing foundational support for students from Primary School through to Year 10. By maintaining a small, highly-paid, and dedicated team, Tutorio Tutoring ensures low tutor turnover and delivers consistent, quality tuition both online and in-person across Sydney and online throughout Australia, ultimately helping students succeed well beyond their final exams.
