Young and Capable Tutoring is a Queensland-based organisation that was created to provide families with high-quality tutoring services. We specialise in science and maths with a particular focus on QCAA Chemistry.
Founded by a chemistry teacher with an Honours degree in Chemistry, a Masters degree in Teaching & Learning, and 10+ years of tutoring experience, we do not compromise on quality. Our tutors are registered specialist teachers or qualified tutors. Our qualified tutors are high achievers (95+ ATAR or cumulative GPA >6 in university) who have completed tutor training in curriculum and pedagogy.
We achieve results for families by:
- Offering an initial diagnostic assessment with a registered teacher to identify learning gaps and 'weak spots' for intervention.
- Employing evidence-based teaching and learning strategies, personalised to your student and their needs.
- Employing evidence-based strategies and inclusive practices to support students with disabilities.
- Providing structured tutoring programs aligned to the curriculum.
- Providing an end of term report so you can see your student's progress towards their goals.
