Privacy Policy
The ATA does not fall under the realms of the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) as the ATA does not have an annual turnover of greater than $3 million and it does not fall into any classes of exceptions to the Acts.
Nevertheless, the ATA, consistent with its aims and principles, agrees to the following:
- Take all reasonable steps to protect the security of any personal information held, be it stored in electronic or hard copy format.
- Use email addresses ONLY for the purpose for which it is provided. Email addresses will NOT be added to any unauthorised mailing list or disclosed to other organisations. If you subscribe to any of the ATAs online mailing lists (such as the ATA Newsletter list), you can easily remove your email details from the list by unsubscribing.
- The ATA does not store credit card details from its website in its computer systems.
- The ATA does not have any responsibility for the privacy policies or practices of third party sites linked to or from the listed websites.
